140 stranded Indian nationals return home

The High Commission of India in Brunei Darussalam in cooperation with Indian associations in Brunei, such as the Indian Association Belait (IAB), Bandar Seri Begawan Indian Association (BSBIA) and Malayali Association (MA), organised the sixth chartered flight operated by Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) for the departure of 140 stranded Indian nationals from the Sultanate to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India on November 13.

Counsellor at the Indian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam Ravi Chandar and other officials from the High Commission bade the Indian nationals off at the Brunei International Airport.

To date, 825 stranded Indian nationals have been transported to India in six chartered flights since July.
