Ten individuals are undergoing the Training of Trainers Certification Programme, organised by SEAMEO Voctech Regional Centre.
The participants, comprising officers from the Ministry of Education’s (MoE) Department of Schools, Department of Administration and Services and Department of Educators Management will explore topics such as ‘training needs assessment’; ‘introduction to training’; ‘preparation for training’; ‘implementation of training’; ‘evaluation of training’; and ‘preparation and delivery of training outputs through micro-teaching/training’.
The programme will also assist the participants in honing and upgrading their abilities to higher standards.
SEAMEO Voctech Regional Centre Director Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar said the SEAMEO Voctech programme is an international NOCN-UK Certification programme, designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to yield the best results in the classroom, training courses and beyond.
He urged participants to take the opportunity to learn the best way to produce and deliver quality material.
The programme, which commenced on November 9, will end on November 14. Director of Educators Management at the MoE Hajah Noridah binti Abdullah, senior officers and officers, as well as management and staff of SEAMEO Voctech Regional Centre were also present.
