Teachers feted for hard work

Jigsaw Primary School celebrated Teacher’s Day with a special dinner at GK Restaurant in Sungai Hanching on September 23.

The school’s CEO and Principal Helen Chin, COO and Medical Advisor Dr Jimmy Chin and Private Secretary to the COO Natasha Chin attended the dinner.

A Doa Kesyukuran was led by the school’s staff Ustaz Sopian followed by dinner.

Helen Chin paid tribute to the teachers’ contributions and hard work. She hoped the teaching staff will continue to help students achieve good academic performance.

Thirty certificates of appreciation were presented to the teachers.

The Long Service, Exemplary and Teacher of the Year were among the prizes awarded. Other prizes such as the Best Dressed (male and female), Lucky Draw and a final Grand Draw prize were also presented.

One of the event’s highlights was the celebration teacher Awangku Abang Muiz bin Pengiran Haji Izad Razaleigh, a Jigsaw Primary School alumnus, who spent the last few months doing his teaching practice at the school. He is currently studying in New York majoring in Mathematics.
