Registration for Japanese Language Proficiency Test opens

The Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam is accepting applications for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2020 from October 9-16.

JLPT has been offered by the Japan Foundation since 1984 as a reliable means of evaluating and certifying the Japanese proficiency of non-native speakers. In Brunei, the JLPT was launched in 2008, and it has been held every December since.

The JLPT has five levels; N1, N2, N3, N4 and N5. The easiest level is N5 and the most difficult level is N1. The JLPT 2020 will be held on Sunday, December 6 at the Language Centre, Universiti Brunei Darussalam.

Interested participants must submit the application form to the embassy no later than October 16. The test guide including application form is available at the Culture and Education Section counter of the Japanese Embassy for BND5, and the test fee is BND3 for each level.
