RB flies 139 stranded Indian nationals home

The High Commission of India in Brunei Darussalam, in close cooperation with Indian associations in Brunei – Indian Association Belait (IAB), Bandar Seri Begawan Indian Association (BSBIA) and Malayali Association (MA) – organised a chartered flight operated by Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) for the departure of 139 stranded Indian passengers from Brunei Darussalam to Coimbatore, India on October 2.

The stranded passengers were Indian nationals on short visits and included those who completed their contracts.

So far, 546 stranded Indian nationals have been repatriated to India on four flights on July 3 and31, September 18 and October 2.

Indian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ajaneesh Kumar and officers from the High Commission were present during the departure of the flight.
