Prophet’s virtues highlighted in talk

Virtues and character of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as a great example to mankind were highlighted at a religious talk titled ‘Developing with the moral values of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)’ delivered by Acting Assistant Mufti (Ifta’) at the State Mufti’s Office Haji Dennie bin Haji Abdullah during a gathering to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) at Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque yesterday.

Haji Dennie said the position and rank of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is high and special in the eye of Allah the Almighty.

Although the Prophet was a Ma`shum, protected from sins and vices, he was even promised by Allah the Almighty with the reward of heaven, but he still worshiped Allah the Almighty to a degree beyond the normal level. The Prophet did not neglect the worship of Allah but doubled it although the Prophet’s position was guaranteed as the first person to set foot in heaven.

Haji Dennie said whether in physical or spiritual development, trust and patience are among the two important morals. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) called on the people to believe in Allah the Almighty despite receiving various allegations, threats and criticisms. The Prophet was once offered property, rank and position and women to abandon his propagation and betray the trust of Allah the Almighty. However, the Prophet remained patient, firm and unmoved by pressure or offer to betray the trust of Allah the Almighty. The Prophet was a brave and courageous man and at the same time loving, gentle and forgiving.
