DAILY STAR – It’s common for pet owners to have thousands of photos of their beloved animal on their phone. But the great majority would have taken them themselves – with no help from their cat or dog – apart from looking particularly cute for the gram.
For lucky owner Kevin Rusnak however, his cat Dobby took the photos for him after accidentally walking onto his owner’s phone.
And it’s fair to say that they are a stunning set of photographs – far better than you’d expect.
Proud owner Kevin shared the incredible snaps on Twitter, with the caption, “What happens when you leave your unlocked phone on the kitchen counter? “Your cat steps on it and starts taking selfies.”
The stunning set of photographs have attracted lots of fans – with many praising the felines efforts.
And Dobby – a mix of Burmese, Siamese, and Russian blue – has also been praised for his model looks. One person wrote, “These pics had me laughing out loud. The last one is the best one.”
A second added, “They have a good eye, those are pretty good.” And a third deadpanned, “The last thing a mouse sees.”
But one person was less complimentary, commenting, “DECEASED. Why do cats take selfies like they’re middle age dudes on dating app?
“All that’s missing is some sunglasses and somebody else’s boat in the background.”
And many fellow cat owners had stories to share about their badly behaved felines.
One joked, “You’re very lucky it was the end with the face. My cat dials my phone.”
Another added, “I had a cat who literally dialed my manager, whom I was actively trying to avoid at the time. Literally. I walked out of the room, walked back on, heard muffled noises coming from under my cat’s because he was sitting on the phone screen.” One disgruntled owner replied, “Mine went on an Amazon spending spree.”
