Over 300 undergoing self-isolation: MoH

Brunei Darussalam marked the 17th day without new COVID-19 cases and 158th day without local transmissions, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 146.

The latest developments were shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in its daily release.

Meanwhile, some 256 samples have been taken to test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of tests carried out since January to 62,395.

Three hundred and forty-six individuals are currently undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad, while 6,812 have completed self-isolation at monitoring centres since March.

Individuals who wish to be tested for SARS-CoV-2 for overseas travel must do so three to five days before their flight date, subject to the terms and conditions of the country to which it is intended.

Swab tests for overseas travel can be carried out at the Berakas Health Centre and the Sports Complex of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.

At the Berakas Health Centre, the swab tests are available from 8am to noon and 2pm-4pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Friday, Sunday and public holidays, the tests are conducted from 2pm-5.30pm.

The swab tests at the Sports Complex of the RIPAS Hospital are conducted from 7am-10pm daily, except public holidays.
