Indian High Commissioner donates books to school library

The High Commissioner of India to Brunei Darussalam Ajaneesh Kumar presented 39 books to Seri Mulia Sarjana International School’s ‘Asian Corner Project’ during his visit to the school on Monday.

The books cover various subjects on India including history, culture, yoga, tourism, art, language, politics and geography.

The Indian High Commissioner highlighted the importance of inculcating the habit of reading in children and expressed confidence that the books will be a source of information on India to the students.

The high commissioner was received by CEO and founder of Sarjana Education Group Dr Mary Lim, Principal Chong and Student Council President Muhammad, who extended their gratitude to the high commissioner for establishing the India Corner in their Asian School Section of the library.
