Family drug case adjourned pending analyst’s report

Prosecutors informed the Magistrate’s Court on Saturday that an analyst’s report in a case involving a family drug business, in which the defendants are facing the death penalty is still pending. Chief Magistrate Pengiran Masni binti Pengiran Haji Bahar adjourned the case to October 22 for further mention, after DPPs Dayangku Didi-Nuraza binti Pengiran Latiff and Affyian bin Abdul Rahman informed the court that the prosecution is awaiting reports of exhibits sent to the Department of Scientific Services while forensic analysis of the seized phone and money laundering investigations are still underway.
