A dialogue session between the Football Referee Association of Brunei Darussalam (PPBNBD) and the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) was held at the NFABD House recently.
The two parties discussed pertinent matters mainly in enhancing cooperation in promoting their shared aims of developing the country’s football and increasing the number of local referees.
The referee association also explained how active referees could broaden their knowledge and step up their quality of refereeing, while also taking refreshers’ courses to familiarise themselves with the concepts and methods.Referees could also be kept updated on the amendments of the Laws of the Game by taking part in courses.
The session also discussed matters that can be proposed in advance before any action to be taken by PPBNBD for any form of advice or assistance.
The dialogue session marked the first time that NFABD members were introduced to the newly elected PPBNBD committee members.
The NFABD delegation was led by its President Pengiran Haji Matusin bin Pengiran Haji Matasan while PPBNBD President Haji Hamidon bin Haji Mohd Zin led the referee association. NFABD and PPBNBD senior officials were also present.
