Condolence messages from foreign missions in Brunei

Foreign missions in Brunei Darussalam sent messages of condolence to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam yesterday on the passing away of Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim.

EMBASSY OF THE SULTANATE OF OMAN
Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Brunei Darussalam Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al-Maskari said, “It is with profound sadness and sorrow I convey on behalf of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Brunei Darussalam our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to His Majesty, members of the royal family as well as the government and people of Brunei Darussalam over the passing away of Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim. I pray to Allah the Almighty to bless Al-Marhum His Royal Highness with mercy, rest his soul in eternal peace and grant him the highest level of paradise and provide His Majesty, members of the royal family and the people of Brunei with patience and fortitude. To Allah we belong and to Allah we return.”

Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to Brunei Darussalam U Htin Lynn said, “It is with profound sadness that we learnt the passing away of Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim. On behalf of the Embassy of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar in Brunei Darussalam, I would like to convey our deepest condolences to His Majesty, members of the royal family as well as the government and people of Brunei Darussalam. At this difficult juncture, we stand with the nation and people of Brunei.”

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam Emad bin Abdul Aziz bin Saad Al Muhanna said, “On behalf of the staff of the Royal Embassy in Bandar Seri Begawan, we would like to express our deepest condolences to His Majesty on the passing away of Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim. We beseech Allah the Almighty to grant the deceased His abundant mercy and forgiveness, and make him a dweller in His vast paradise. To Allah we belong and to Allah we return.”

Indonesian Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Dr Sujatmiko said, “On behalf of the government and people of the Republic of Indonesia, and on behalf of the Indonesian community living in Brunei Darussalam, I would like to express my deepest sympathy and condolences to His Majesty, the royal family, and to the government and people of Brunei Darussalam on the passing away of Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim. In this time of national mourning, I join the people of Brunei in offering our prayers to Allah the Almighty that Al-Marhum His Royal Highness be blessed with mercy, and may Allah the Most Merciful and Compassionate grant his soul with eternal rest and peace in his heavenly abode.
