FastTracKids (B) International Academy, previously known as Fastrackids Enrichment Centre, hosted an Open Day for the public last weekend at its new facility at Jalan Telanai.

The centre was established in Brunei in 2018 and was rebranded last August with an enhanced new educational model and revamp facilities aimed at a more stable service provider licensed by the Ministry of Education.

FastTracKids Brunei is set up to meet the increasing demand of early childhood intervention providing services through play and outdoor education as well as support children with special needs in an inclusive environment.

FastTracKids Brunei implements a zig-zagging approach learning method which adopts the children through hands on and utilise all the parts of their brain while learning, outdoor open floor learning with mixed groups following a more child-centred and initiated environment.

The centre offers several programmes for ages two to eight with a teacher student ratio
of 2:8.

Programmes are offered for three groups; KG1 (Beginner), KG2 (Explorer) and KG3 (Discoverer). Additional therapy for children with special needs support with Occupational and Speech Language Therapy is also available.

The centre provides after school programmes in English Reading and Phonics, Fundamental Public Speaking and Robotics Programme.

This inclusive programme helps students build communication skills through Picture Exchange Communication system (PECS).

“Every class provides a unique learning opportunity for all children. This learning environment creates an active rather than passive learning.

“The major advantage at FastTracKids is we create an interactive learning style”, said Managing Director of Fastrackids Brunei, Caroline Riekie.
