Brunei Darussalam marked 15 days without recording new COVID-19 cases yesterday, thus keeping the national tally at 146 cases.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) has taken 218 samples for SARS-CoV-2 virus testing in the past 24 hours, and has carried out 61,809 tests since January 2020.

A total of 332 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad, while 6,740 have completed their mandatory self-isolation at monitoring centres since March 2020.

Individuals who wish to be tested for SARS-CoV-2 for overseas travel must do so three to five days before their flight date (subject to the terms and conditions of the country to which it is intended).

Swab tests for overseas travel can be carried out at the Berakas Health Centre and the Sports Complex of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital.

At the Berakas Health Centre, the swab tests are available from 8am to noon and 2pm-4pm from Monday to Thursday and Saturday. On Friday, Sunday and public holidays, the tests are conducted from 2pm-5.30pm.

The swab tests at the Sports Complex of the RIPAS Hospital are conducted from 7am-10pm daily, except public holidays.
