Brunei Darussalam entered the third day without new COVID-19 cases yesterday, keeping the national tally at 145, including three active cases receiving treatment at the National Isolation Centre.
Some 145 samples have been taken for testing for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total tests conducted since January to 53,292.
According to the statement by the Ministry of Health (MoH), 461 individuals are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad. So far, 5,248 individuals have completed mandatory self-isolation since the onset of the coronavirus outbreak in March.
In the breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, the ministry revealed that there have been 114 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
