Leaving college with fond memories

Micronet International College (MIC) held a series of farewell gatherings for its final semester students at its college recently.

BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology student Ahmad Darwisy bin Haji Mohd Zaifulizham said, “Web developing and multimedia-related modules at MIC are interesting and I want to pursue BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Computing.”

BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Information Technology student Poca Elishacastro said she enjoyed the experience she gained in the extracurricular activities and events during her time in MIC. “My experiences in MIC have been valuable. I am comfortable with the college’s environment,” Poca said.

Meanwhile, SQA National Certificate in Mobile Technology students Siti Norhazirah binti Haji Abdul Rahim, Nur Afiqah Zahirah vinti Abu Sufian and Muhammad Fuad Hamizan bin Muhammad Affendy said they enjoyed their studies at MIC.

“The environment is comfortable and the facilities are well-equipped and the lecturers are friendly,” they said.

Student Hajah Norhamizah binti Haji Abdul Rahman said, “My biggest achievement is my final year project where I developed a database management system for a local company. I was initially worried about the difficulty level of the course as I lack IT background before enrolling.

“Now, I hope I can apply the skills I learnt in MIC for my career.”

Tan Sin Tah also said he had fun studying at MIC and appreciated his lecturers’ help.

MIC principal and staff are grateful that the majority of students are coming back to further their studies at the college.
