Purion has been named as the official drinking water to Indera Sports Club (ISC) after the club obtained sponsorship from Leesin Sdn Bhd.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony between Leesin Sdn Bhd and Indera Sports Club took place at the Millennium Restaurant in Beribi yesterday.
Managing Director of Leesin Sdn Bhd Ting Kah Ong and Manager Isaac Yang signed for the sponsoring company while the ISC was signed by its President Pengiran Anak Haji Mohd Yassin bin Pengiran Anak Safiuddin and General Manager Rosdin bin Haji Abd Aziz.
President of the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (NFABD) Pengiran Haji Matusin bin Pengiran Haji Matasan was the guest of honour.
Through the MoU, the manufacturing company of Purion will provide sponsorship for the use of Indera Sports Club players during training and in its participation in matches both at home and abroad.
The sponsorship is a beneficial contribution from the company as well as a sign of solid support and cooperation to the community and sport organisations in the country.
Rosdin said, “Purion has its own advantages and is now becoming a popular drinking water in Brunei Darussalam, especially for athletes. Players also now have the opportunity to enjoy it and take advantage of the benefits of this drink.”
According to him, the sponsorship contribution will help the club, especially in providing drinking water to ISC players.
Meanwhile, Ting Kah Ong highlighted that the sponsorship marked the company’s support and cooperation to the community in the country.
He said, “We are very proud to be the sponsor of the ISC club as a measure of the company’s desire, for the people in this country to drink nutritious water in their daily lives.”
According to him, people can evaluate themselves the quality of deliciousness contained in Purion drinks as well as provide various advantages to help maintain health.
