Harley Owners Group Brunei holds Annual General Meeting

The Harley Owners Group Brunei (HOGB) Chapter held its 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Parkview Hotel, Kampong Jerudong recently.

Fifty members participated.

The meeting began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat led by Assistant Director Pengiran Redzaidi bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad.

It proceeded with a welcoming speech by Director Abdul Malek bin Hamdani who spoke on the association’s development. He said, the association brings together fans of the high-powered Harley-Davidson motorcycles for various activities.

“However, many activities, especially outside Brunei, have been cancelled as the border is still closed and the COVID-19 epidemic still ongoing.

“But Alhamdulillah, our country is at a safe level and this encourages the association to hold events within the country,” he added.

He pointed out the success of the recent event where members gathered at Sumbiling Eco Village, Temburong for an overnight excursion.

The association also showcased past and present activities as well as the Calendar of Events as well as the Membership Report presented by Activity Officer Abdul Azim bin Abdul Ghani.

Brunei Harley-Davidson General Manager Pengiran Musa bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Jaafar and association’s honorary members were also present.
