Over 20 members of Brunei Daily Snapshot Photography gathered at the Jetty near Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha (RIPAHS) Bridge on Sunday for a get-together aimed at promoting the local tourism industry.
The group went on a five-hour tour of the Brunei Bay where aspiring shutterbugs captured the beauty of nature.
The group also made a stop at a market to support local vendors and their products.
Founder Aisha Diana @ Mewsum Wong said, “This event is particularly special for the Brunei Daily Snapshot Photography because we are hoping to help out local vendors in these challenging times.
“The visitors get a better deal and the vendors get more sales; it’s a win-win situation.”
To join Sunday’s event, members of the photography club paid BND15 for food and a Brunei Daily Snapshot Photography t-shirt.
However, all proceeds go to Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, said Wong.
