The 17th China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) will be held from November 27-30 in Nanning, capital of South China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the secretariat of the expo said on Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
With strict anti-COVID-19 measures, an investment summit, high-level forums, trade and investment promotion activities will be held both online and offline during the four-day event.
The expo was initially scheduled to take place from September 18-21 but postponed due to the epidemic. Launched in 2004, the expo is an important platform to promote trade and relations between China and ASEAN member states.
The expo helps to build a platform for exchanges and cooperation between China and ASEAN member countries including Brunei. Over the past years, the sultanate booths at the expo highlighted Halal food and beverage, handicrafts, electronic products, textiles and clothing, tourism services, information technology, higher education, trade and investment services, and medical services.
The China-ASEAN Expo also hosts country-specific promotion conferences, cultural performances and a wealth of exchange activities for investment and trade, so that all exhibitors will have more opportunities to communicate with other companies
