Basic haj course starts on September 27

The Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through Department of Haj Management will be conducting basic haj course (KAH) for 1442 Hijrah at selected mosques. There will be six classes.

The first course will be conducted on September 27, followed by October 4, 11, 18 and 25.

The final session will be on November 1. The course will be from 8-10am.

For Brunei-Muara District, the courses will be conducted at Sufri Bolkiah Mosque, Mohamed Bolkiah Mosque, Perpindahan Lambak Kanan Mosque, Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Mosque, Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque and Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah
Maryam Mosque.

In Belait District, KAH will take place at Pekan Seria Mosque and Mohammad Jamalul Alam Mosque. In Tutong District, the courses will be at Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque. Temburong District’s courses will be at Utama Mohammad Salleh Mosque.

The public attending the course is advised to observe directives issued by Ministry of Health (MoH) and Departments of Mosque Affairs and Haj Management including using BruHealth app to scan QR code before entry and taking body temperature.

Course participants must perform ablutions at home, bring their own prayer mats and wears, use face masks and practise social distancing.
