Ninety more individuals were allowed to go home yesterday after completing their mandatory self-isolation.

They arrived in the country on August 20 via air and land from Sabah and Sarawak. They were immediately transported to their allocated self-isolation centres.

Twenty-three checked out of Mulia Hotel, 19 from StarLodge, 11 from Higher Hotel, nine each from The Brunei Hotel, Traders Inn and Kiulap Hotel, five from Grand City Hotel, four from Parkview Hotel and two from Radisson Hotel.

Ministry of Health (MoH) officials, uniformed personnel and youth volunteers assisted the individuals during the check out.

The individuals underwent their self-isolation from the first day of their arrival. They were required to undergo a swab test on their fifth day.

Some tests were carried out at the allocated hotel rooms while some individuals were transported to the testing centre.

The individuals were appreciative to the frontliners and hotel staff for looking after them during their mandatory self-isolation.

Since March, 5,147 individuals have completed the mandatory self-isolation. Currently some 476 are undergoing their mandatory self-isolation.
