49 Thai nationals return home

The Royal Thai Embassy in Brunei Darussalam with Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) repatriated 49 Thai nationals back to Bangkok, Thailand on Wednesday morning.

The special flight BI519 departed from Brunei International Airport at 10.55am and arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok at 12.40pm.

Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Brunei Darussalam Wanthanee Viputwongsakul was at the Brunei International Airport to send off the returning Thais.

The returning Thai nationals received a care-bag containing face masks and hand sanitiser as well as packed lunch from the ambassador.

This is the third special repatriation flight arranged by the embassy. The first special flight was arranged on June 20 carrying 44 Thai nationals and the second was on August 19 carrying 60 passengers comprising 43 Thai nationals and 17 non-Thai nationals.
