47 new COVID-19 cases in Singapore

SINGAPORE (BERNAMA) – Singapore has preliminarily confirmed 47 new cases of COVID-19 yesterday, taking the total number of infections in the republic to 57,091.

“Based on our investigations so far, there are no cases in the community,” the republic’s Ministry of Health (MOH) said in its brief data released yesterday.

The ministry said there was one imported case, who had been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore.

In the full data released late on Monday, the republic classified 939 of the reported cases as imported, 2,230 as community cases and 53,875 involving dorm residents.
