RBPF engages communities in crime prevention effort

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) has been actively engaging local communities in activities to foster closer ties and ensure the effectiveness of the neighbourhood watch initiative in crime prevention.

Recently, a Korban ceremony was organised by the RBPF to mark the Hari Raya Aidiladha celebration.

Personnel from Berakas and Kampong Ayer police stations, led by Berakas Police Station Assistant Officer Inspector Haji Abu Bakar bin Haji Abdul Rahman, distributed the sacrificial meat to the underprivileged in Area 1 and Area 3 of RPN Kampong Rimba, Mukim Gadong A.

Also joining the event were Assistant of Kampong Ayer Police Station Inspector Mohd Salman bin Abdullah Sima Al-Islam, Acting Village Head of RPN Kampong Rimba Area 3 Pengiran Haji Hashim bin Pengiran Ismail and Acting Village Head of RPN Kampong Rimba Area 1 Haji Adanan bin Taha @ Awang Mohamad.

Meanwhile, Acting Commanding Officer of Temburong Police District Assistant Superintendent of Police Pengiran Anak Haji Azanuddin Aman Shah bin Pengiran Anak Ismail Al-Haj and delegation held a dialogue with Acting Village Head of Kampong Lepong Baru Ambol anak Bakit, Acting Village Head of Kampong Perpindahan Rataie, Kampong Rataie and STKRJ.

The meeting saw the discussion of crime statistics and smuggling activities along the frontiers.

Separately, Officer-in-Charge of Muara Police Station P/ASP Hajah Nur Azhani binti Haji Johaiani and delegation visited the residences of Acting Village Head of RPN Mentiri Area 1 Haji Abu Bakar bin Punggut and Acting Village Head of RPN Kampong Panchor Mangkubau Mohd Hilmy bin Haji Ahmad for a similar discussion.
