School leavers wanting to undergo foundation studies at Curtin University Malaysia (Curtin Malaysia) can apply for the August intake before the commencement of classes on
As all foundation and undergraduate programmes at Curtin Malaysia will continue to be delivered online until at least the end of the year, new students will head straight into online classes following a week-long orientation, which will be conducted online.
Classes will be in both synchronous and asynchronous mode, with tutorials, workshop and lab sessions conducted via various online platforms. These are likely to progress into hybrid blended learning modes featuring a blend of face-to-face teaching and online coursework.
Curtin Malaysia‘s one-year foundation programmes in engineering and science, commerce and arts feed directly into the degree programmes. Many of the courses are world-ranked in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2020 as well as ShanghaiRanking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2020.
To provide potential students and their parents information on studying at Curtin Malaysia, the campus is running a ‘Virtual Info Day’ at the university’s website.
Besides course and enrolment information, the website features an online personality test for course matching, virtual campus tour, information on scholarships and financial aid, and downloadable e-brochures. Potential students can also engage online with course counsellors for advice.
