No new COVID-19 cases reported in Brunei

Yesterday marked the 91st day of no new COVID-19 cases in Brunei Darussalam, keeping the national tally of confirmed cases firmly at 141.

According to the Ministry of Health (MoH), 463 samples have been taken in the past 24 hours to test for SARS-CoV-2 virus, bringing it to a total of 42,770 tests since January 2020.

In its daily release yesterday, the ministry also said 581 individuals are currently undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving in the country from abroad.

Meanwhile, 3,915 individuals have completed self-isolation at the monitoring centres since March 2020.

In its breakdown of cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn said there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
