No new COVID-19 cases in Brunei

Brunei Darussalam marked four days without any new COVID-19 cases yesterday keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 142, including one active case treated at the National Isolation Centre.

The latest information of the COVID-19 situation in the country was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in a statement yesterday.

There are 569 individuals undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres after arriving from abroad, while 4,026 individuals have completed their mandatory self-isolation at monitoring centres since March 2020.

The MoH has taken 420 samples for testing for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total tests conducted since January to 43,983.

According to healthinfo.gov.bn, there have been 111 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
