New Zealand confirms 11 new COVID-19 cases

WELLINGTON (XINHUA) – New Zealand confirmed 11 new cases of COVID-19 over the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of active cases in the country to 105, according to the Ministry of Health yesterday.

Among the new cases, nine are related to the community outbreak in Auckland and two are new imported cases, said a ministry statement. Of the nine community cases, five are linked to different churches in South Auckland and four are household contacts, it said.
