New bread spread enters Brunei market

SP Setia Sdn Bhd brought into the country Kerra Coconut Spread to meet the demand of locals asking for healthier yet tasty bread spreads.

Kerra Coconut Spread comes in original and salted caramel flavours. It is available at convenience stores and super-market nationwide.

Made in Malayasia and certified Halal by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), the coconut spread is sweet and creamy. It is made from milled real coconut meat and blended with skimmed milk and vitamin E among others.

Coconut products are cholesterol and trans-fat free. It is a superfood containing healthy fats that prevent obesity, contribute to brain and heart health, boost immunity and improve digestion.

Kerra Coconut Spread is also a source of fibre and suitable for vegans. It is soy and nut free with no artificial flavourings and colourings as well as non-GMO and egg free.

Besides Brunei, the coconut spread has also made its way to Singapore, Hong Kong, Nigeria, South Korea and Malaysia. Its new pandan flavour variant is expected to hit supermarket shelves soon.

Kerra Coconut Spread was nominated in several international food shows for product innovation.
