Indian man to fight sex crime charge

A 32-year-old Indian man will seek to prove his innocence in a trial on an allegation against him of forcing a 10-year-old local boy to perform a sexual act.

Mohamad Iburahim faces a charge of outraging the modesty of the victim at 11am on June 21 in Kampong Rimba. Mohamad Iburahim is represented by defence counsels Leney Andrew Albert and Wafi Sallehuddin of Messrs Ahmad Isa and Partners.

Senior Magistrate Azrimah Abdul Rahman fixed March 1-4 and March 8-9 to hear the trial.
