Gleneagles JPMC extends support to NGOs

Gleneagles JPMC Sdn Bhd presented contribution to five non-governmental organisations (NGOs) yesterday, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme, in a ceremony at Royal Berkshire Hall, Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club.

Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar in his capacity as member of the Board of Directors of Gleneagles JPMC presented the contribution to the Down Syndrome Association (ABLE), An-Nur Harapan, the National Association for the Hearing-Impaired (OKP), Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam, and Children’s Cancer Foundation (YASKA), with each receiving BN10,000.

Representing ABLE to receive the contribution was its Deputy President Siti Zaliha binti Haji Abu Salim, An-Nur Harapan by its Board of Directors member Surainah binti Haji Tengah, OKP by its Secretary General Hajah Jaaranah binti Haji Talip, Pusat Ehsan by its Executive and Operational Trustee Pengiran Datin Hajah Noraini binti Pengiran Dipa Negara Laila Diraja Pengiran Haji Abdul Momin and YASKA by its Vice Chairperson Tsara’ Nawwarah binti Abdullah Chen.

Gleaneagles JPMC Chief Executive Officer Dr Peter Tay said this year’s CSR programme “underscores the strong commitment from Gleaneagles JPMC in continuing to make a positive difference towards the local communities and beyond”.
