Brunei records no new COVID-19 case

Brunei Darussalam marked nine consecutive days without any new COVID-19 case yesterday keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 142 including an active case at the National Isolation Centre.

Some 692 individuals who arrived from overseas are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres while 4,284 individuals have completed their stint since
March 2020.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) shared this in its daily press release yesterday. The MoH has also taken 389 samples to test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours with 47,172 SARS-CoV-2 virus tests being conducted since January 2020.

Meanwhile, in its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there were 111 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
