Brunei records no new COVID-19 case

Brunei Darussalam recorded no new COVID-19 cases for the seventh consecutive day yesterday keeping the national tally of confirmed cases at 142 including an active case at the National Isolation Centre.

A total of 735 individuals who arrived from overseas are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres while 4,140 individuals have completed their mandatory self-isolation at monitoring centres since March 2020. The Ministry of Health (MoH) shared this in its daily release yesterday.

The MoH has also taken 733 samples to test for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours with 46,568 SARS-CoV-2 virus tests being conducted since January 2020.

Meanwhile, in its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there have been 111 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
