GHK Motors Sdn Bhd initiated a blood donation drive as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility at its headquarters in Beribi yesterday.
A total of 46 pints of blood were collected during the drive.
The recent lifting of the COVID-19 restrictions had allowed GHK Motors to conduct its annual blood donation drive. GHK Motors Director Jake Goh and employees took part in the drive.
It was held in collaboration with the Blood Donation Centre of the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital. The centre’s medical team was on hand to carry out the procedures.
GHK Motors adhered to the Ministry of Health’s guidelines in ensuring social distancing, use of face masks and hand sanitisers as well as scanning of the BruHealth QR code and body temperature check.
In light of this, GHK aims to provide support and create awareness towards the importance of the community to reach out to those in need.
