36 shortlisted for Aifa lucky draw

The names of 36 lucky winners for Aifa’s annual Hari Raya lucky draw promotion were drawn at Stadium Restaurant in Berakas yesterday.

Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yussof bin Bakar was the guest of honour who picked the names out of over 50,000 lucky draw coupons.

The prizes worth BND24,000 included the grand prize of Elba three-in-one Premium Kitchen Package, second prize of LG 55-inch OLED tv and third prize of Aifa 75-inch LED Smart TV with Pevy HKS-5100 home theatre.

Aifa Sdn Bhd Managing Director Dr Andy Lau Sie Chuong said that due to COVID-19, certain local businesses are experiencing a boom as borders are closed.

“As one of the electronics distributors in Brunei, Aifa Sdn Bhd is aiming to serve Brunei market well. We are always upgrading and ensuring an efficient after-sales service for all our customers and have and will continue to provide the latest products,” he said.

He added, “We were appointed to provide training for local students and Aifa plans to upgrade operations by extending to a new building where a new service and training centre will be located.”

He said the training centre is committed to helping the new generation receive the best technological skills. Aifa received requests from Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) as many of their students have shown interest.

Aifa General Manager Lily Ngo and representatives of authorised dealers of Aifa were also present.
