Squash became one of the latest sports to make a return in the recreational scene following the announcement of updated guidelines for indoor sports facilities as part of the third phase of the de-escalation plan.
The National Squash Centre of the Hassanal Bolkiah National Sports Complex is accepting bookings on an hourly basis starting from 9am with the last booking slot being set at 8pm.
Only three out of six courts are available and each player allocated a one-hour session.
Courts will be rotated every hour in line with the guidelines for the third phase of the de-escalation plan.
For instance, if Court 1, 3 and 5 are available from 9am to 10am, then these courts will be closed for the next hour. Meanwhile Court 2, 4 and 6 will be made available to the public instead.
Under the current arrangements, the centre will be closed for one hour from 6pm to 7pm.
Meanwhile, fencing athletes have resumed training with social distancing measures in place and without the use of swords. The athletes have returned to the fencing hall where they took part in skipping exercises and working on their footwork and movements.
