RBPF teams up with penghulus, village heads to beef up security

Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) personnel joined up with village heads in patrolling several areas with the aim of promoting crime prevention initiatives and increasing neighbourhood security.

Among them was a meeting recently held between Acting Head of Kampong Kulapis Mohammad Asyramisyanie bin Kamis and P/ASP Abdul Hakim Ansyari bin Abdul Rahman from Sengkurong Police Station to exchange views on village affairs.

A session was also carried out between the Focal Point of Berakas Police Station, led by Berakas Police Station Officer-in-Charge P/ASP Muhammad Alif bin Haji Musa and Acting Head of RPN Rimba Haji Julkepli bin Haji Ibrahim, during which they discussed crime statistics and the newly established neighbourhood watch at RPN Rimba.

Meanwhile, Muara Police Station Officer-in-Charge P/ASP Hajah Nur Azhani binti Haji Johaiani met Acting Head of RPN Serasa Abdul Hamid bin Haji Zinin @ Zainin to brainstorm on strategies to increase safety in the area.

A patrol was also carried out at Pasar Aneka Seria to ensure all vendors abide by the rules and regulations set by the authorities. The operation was led by Seria Police Station Officer-in-Charge P/ASP Syed Md Afidzul Azeez bin Sheikh Haji Abu Bakar, Acting Penghulu of Mukim Seria and Head of STKRJ Lorong 3 Seria Haji Saidin bin Haji Ibrahim and six members of STKRJ Seria neighbourhood watch.
