Qiblat stickers distributed to Muslim converts in Ulu Belait

The Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) under the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) and the Survey Department at the Ministry of Development (MoD) visited Muslim converts’ residences in Ulu Belait to install the Qiblat stickers yesterday.

The delegation comprising officers from the PDI and the Survey Department, led by Assistant PDI Director Abdul Aziz bin Haji Abdul Kahar went to the Mendaram Kecil Longhouse in Mukim Labi, Ulu Belait.

Legislative Council (LegCo) member and Acting Penghulu of Mukim Labi Yang Berhormat Hanapi bin Mohd Siput welcomed the delegation.

Similar project was also conducted at the Teraja Longhouse on May 18; Bang Taong/Apak-Apak Longhouse, Buau Longhouse and Biadong Long-house on June 6; as well as at Julangan Titah Longhouse, Rumah Besar Sukang, and Penan Longhouse on June 17.

The project was first launched by Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman in December 24 last year at the Temburong Longhouse.
