A home at RPN Kampong Lambak Kanan was gutted by a fire on Tuesday, leaving one victim with burn injuries.
DSO Haji Mohammad Noor bin Haji Ahad from the Lambak Kanan Fire Station led 12 firefighters after receiving an alert at 1.21pm.
Using breathing apparatus, the fire crew had the blaze under control within 10 minutes, but despite their best efforts, the fire damaged much of the house on the upper level.
One of the residents was treated for burns by paramedics, while the other 13 occupants escaped unhurt.
Commanding Officer of Operation ‘C’ Branch SSFR Pengiran Azizul Rahman bin Pengiran Haji Yusop and Acting Deputy Commanding Officer of Operation ‘C’ Branch ASFR Mushidee bin Junaidi were also present.
Investigations are ongoing into the cause of the fire and estimated losses.
