No new COVID-19 cases in Brunei

Brunei Darussalam continued its streak of no new COVID-19 cases for 79 days yesterday.

The national tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases remains at 141.

This was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in a press statement.

Some 529 people, who just arrived in the country after travelling abroad, are undergoing their mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres provided by the government.

Meanwhile, 3,478 individuals have completed self-isolation since March. The ministry revealed that 170 samples were tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours bringing the laboratory tests conducted since January to 38,242.

In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
