Eight female and two male Bruneian hikers explored the untouched jungle at Homestay Alai Gayoh Anak Pulau, located in the inland area of Kampong Bukit Udal, Tutong last Sunday.
Organised by Juliana Jamaludin, the jungle trekking was guided by Haji Mohd Elleys bin Abdullah and also Samra bin Haji Sahari, an experienced and trained paramedic personnel from Homestay Alai Gayoh Anak Pulau.
Samra said the jungle trekking can last many hours and it depends on the hikers.
As an introductory hike, experienced and extreme female hikers chose to trek for three hours. Hiker Pengiran Nina Jasmine said, “It was a challenging route, steep terrain under the canopy of trees but overall an amazing experience.”
