The Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) announced several measures in preparation for the start of the first semester for 2020/2021 on August 3.
Among these measures include online teaching and learning for classes with a large number of students exceeding the capacity of the hall or room and face-to-face sessions using rooms with a set capacity for halaqah classes.
Another measure is that the waiting bay corridor near the KUPU SB Student Surau and the Gate Entrance 4 near the Kampong Tamoi car park will be used as the main entrance for students. Students are required to use the corridor and gate entrance to carry out temperature checks and scan their BruHealth QR code.
KUPU SB officers, lecturers and staff will conduct the temperature checks at the security hut at the main entrance while the BruHealth QR codes will be prepared according to the zones to be announced at a later date. Students are required to scan the QR codes when entering and exiting the set zone areas. KUPU SB officers, lecturers and staff are advised to bring their own hand sanitisers and face masks.
The KUPU SB residential college facilities are closed as it is currently undergoing renovation. Book borrowing services at the KUPU SB Library are open as usual according to the set hours and in compliance with Ministry of Health (MoH) guidelines.
The KUPU SB canteen is also operating as normal in compliance with MoH guidelines.
KUPU SB announced it will be implementing measures in accordance with guidelines and procedures set for the implementation of the Ta’aruf Week for the admission of new students from July 27 to 30.
