The Public Works Department (JKR) of the Ministry of Development (MoD) advised the public to be careful when driving through the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge due to fallen trees at the area.
Road users are also advised to take safety measures especially during heavy rains and strong wind when they cross the bridge.
The JKR in a press statement added that the situation is being managed by the Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) to avoid unwanted incidents. It also added that works to clear fallen trees will take place near Labu Estate area. Road users are advised to obey the maximum speed limit of 70km/h during rainy day.
