The Community Development Department (JAPEM), Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) continues to distribute disposable diapers and milk to bed-ridden senior citizens and individuals in need of assistance.

Every month, JAPEM officers hand over the items directly to recipients at their homes across all four districts. This also allows the officers a chance to observe the living conditions of the recipients.

Currently, 86 senior citizens receive monthly assistance, 31 of whom receive monthly assistance for disposable diapers, 33 (milk assistance), and 22 (disposable diapers and milk).

This initiative is in line with the Brunei Government’s vision of ensuring the underprivileged receive help.
