Japan Embassy donates books to DBP library

The Language and Literature Bureau (DBP) recently received book donations from the Embassy of Japan in Brunei Darussalam in a ceremony held at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin received the donation from Charge d’Affaires Ad Interim of the Embassy of Japan Abe Hiroshi.

The minister expressed his gratitude to the Embassy of Japan and said the books will be added to the collection at the DBP Library for the public’s reference.

Abe Hiroshi said that the books can be a source of reference for children as well as a source of inspiration for them to become scientists and engineers.
