The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Brunei Darussalam yesterday partnered with Taiwan Business Association in Brunei Darussalam and Taiwan Graduates Association of Brunei Darussalam to donate 60 wheelchairs to Pengiran Muda Mahkota Pengiran Muda Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah (PMMPMHAMB) Hospital in Tutong District.

Yesterday’s contribution was a follow-up to the donation of 40 wheelchairs to Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital on May 12.

The hospital’s Chief Executive Officer Abdul Mu’iz bin Haji Ibrahim received the contribution from Taipei Economic and Cultural Office representative Andrew HC Lee, Taiwan Business Association Chairman Yap Ong Chuan and Honorary Chairman Richard Chuang and Taiwan Graduates Association of Brunei Darussalam Vice Chairman Chia Yit Fatt.

Seventy-four wheelchairs will be handed over to other public hospitals and private charity groups with the aim of demonstrating corporate social responsibility by entrepreneurs affiliated with the associations.
