‘GO on the Go’ application, was launched yesterday to facilitate references and enhance understanding of public service affairs and human resource management.

The app is one of the initiatives by the Public Service Department (JPA) in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) which can be downloaded in both Android and IOS platforms.

The app will allow users especially civil servants to access General Orders (GO) or Services and Management Affairs in Public Service book (Peraturan-Peraturan Am / Perkhidmatan dan Hal Ehwal Pengurusan dalam Perkhidmatan Awam) as a source of reference and guidance to provide quality service, improve administrative skills and human resource management in public service as well as to facilitate officers who intend to sit for GO examination.

The public including private agencies is also encouraged to utilise the application.

The application also contains information on government service benefits, career development, matters of conduct and discipline, management and general administration as well as method of management.

A Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and sample of test papers and quizzes are also available.

JPA hopes the application will help further disseminate knowledge and understanding of general order, services and management affairs of public service to civil servants and stakeholders.

The launch also coincides with the theme of Civil Service Day 2020 – ‘Public Service with Integrity and Innovation, Catalyst for National Development’.
