The Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) put out a vehicle fire at Seria-Lumut By-Pass
on Saturday.

Firefighters from Seria Fire Station led by ASO Musa bin Aman arrived at the scene
at 2.47pm after receiving an emergency call.

In three minutes, they put out the blaze that started at the engine bay and spread further back into the vehicle.

The white saloon car’s owner and the four passengers were unharmed as they evacuated as soon as the fire started. They also called the FRD.

The FRD reminded the public to regularly maintain their vehicles and to ensure electronics are properly checked. They also urged vehicles to be equipped with firefighting equipment.

In case of an emergency, call the FRD at 995.
