The event also saw the launching of the DBP e-Payment Services and Marketing mechanism via Digital Banking, QuickPay and Swipe Card for Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) account holders to carry out payment of services and marketing of books available at DBP.
With this service, customers dealing with the department can make direct payments by choosing one of the payment alternatives provided. Among the paid services provided by DBP are translation and review services, Jawi writing and verification services, sale of book publishing licences, magazines and journals, space rental, library card registration, tender offer document sales and book, magazines and journals sales.
